I am writing this review as it is long-overdue. I had Alana as my seamstress for my wedding dress, but she provided much more service than just altering my dress.

Alana’s knowledge of the service industry is undeniable. She was around through most of my wedding planning and her experience and advice played a large role in executing my wedding successfully. Alana is well-organized, detail-oriented, well-connected, professional, personable and assertive when necessary. Alana connected me with vendors that were both high-quality, professional and within my budget. If it wasn’t for Alana, I would not have been able to have the type of wedding I envisioned. During a period of difficulties with my wedding venue, she provided me the knowledge I needed to overcome the obstacles and read between the fine lines of my confusing, vague contract intricacies that my venue attempted to use to prevent executing specific requests. It is an understatement that Alana and her company would be an asset in the execution for a PERFECT wedding. She is a breath of fresh air during stressful wedding planning as she will help ease your mind and implement all your ideas.

Now for her work as a seamstress. I was referred to Alana through Jessica from Arden Bridal, after a day of disappointment. The original dress I loved was sold from another Boutique. Jessica was able to find a dress similar but knew of a very-talented seamstress that could accomplish the same look, customized to the original dress I loved. When I first met Alana, I told her how I was upset that I did not have the “yes to the dress” moment and she told me, “That’s normal, that feeling doesn’t usually happen until the last fitting.” She was right. Alana tore my dress up but made it exactly the way I wanted it. She altered the dress to flatter me in all the right ways, without the need of starving myself for months before my wedding. Mind you, I am also 4’10 and she was able to alter my dress without sacrificing all the beautiful details that came with it to fit to my limited height. Alana was very flexible with my complicated schedule and managed to create every element I wanted out of my dress.

This review cannot fully explain the amount of service she provided to me and my family. She was not only my seamstress and event coordinating advisor, but she also provided a type of emotional support I didn’t know I needed. I cannot express enough, that you will never regret hiring Alana and her company for your special event.
